Wilgenbusch Charolais

Based near Halbrite, Saskatchewan, Wilgenbusch Charolais is a family-owned operation founded in the early 1990s by John and Brenda Wilgenbusch. Today, the ranch is managed by their son Craig and his wife Tricia, overseeing a herd of 450 purebred white and red factor Charolais breeding females alongside a select commercial group used for their extensive embryo transplant program. Their breeding philosophy focuses on producing cattle that excel in functionality, longevity, and structural integrity, emphasizing maternal excellence through easy-keeping, excellent-uddered females. By selecting for structural soundness and calving ease without compromising muscle mass, the ranch provides producers with rugged, athletic bulls and high-quality replacement females designed for longevity and performance in demanding environments.
